Netflix has just dropped the trailer for The Christmas Chronicles two – so basically, we can put the tree up now, right?
The new festive movie teased that part two will be more focussed on Mrs Claus, and well, so it should be.
Taking to social media, Netflix Film shared the first-look clip of the film along with the caption: It’s time for Mrs Claus to get her due. Kurt Russell & @GoldieHawn are back to save the holidays in THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES 2, only on Netflix 25 November.’
The trailer begins with the voiceover saying: ‘We’re about to show you something never seen before.’
‘You’re in Santa’s village, the real one. Mrs Claus designed everything,’ Santa Clause chipped in.
‘Well if she designed this place, I think it should be called Mrs Claus’s village, Kate replied.
To which Santa replied: ‘Well I’d never thought of that.’
The film’s first instalment, The Christmas Chronicles, followed ‘true believers’ Kate and Teddy Pierce, who notice Santa Clause in their home.
After they jump into his sleigh with his reindeer – the sleigh eventually malfunctions and crashes, and the Christmas presents are lost.
As Christmas morning approaches, it is up to the children and Santa to save Christmas by correctly delivering all presents.
The plot of the sequel, The Christmas Chronicles 2, will revisit Kate, who is now a teenager, and her brother Teddy.
Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn will be taking on their roles as Mr and Mrs Claus for the second instalment.
While Darby Camp and Judah Lewis will reprise their roles Kate and Teddy Pierce.
The Christmas Chronicles 2 airs on Netflix from November 25.
